When most Washington D.C. vets were opening practices in the suburbs,
Dr. Bruce Herwald chose Dupont Circle downtown, with a high-density,
very underserved population. Since that time, that area of the
city has boomed, and so has Dr. Herwald’s business. Today
he owns three veterinary practices in the heart of downtown
Washington, and a 17-acre kennel in the outlying countryside.
