Business Finance Group has issued its 2007 Annual Economic Development Report outlining the successes of our first 25 years. You should be receiving your copy in the mail by the end of the month. We are proud to report that over 1,700 small businesses have financed over $2.25 billion in projects through Business Finance Group. Many of those small businesses would not have been able to achieve their dreams without the 504 program, and we invite you to enjoy the stories of several of those businesses.
Closing Tip
With falling rates, we are anticipating many borrowers will want to push forward with their 504 closing. All of our loan processing, including post-approval changes, is now handled by SBA’s Sacramento Loan Processing Center. No matter how minor a change may seem, it must be processed through Sacramento, and SBA’s response time is an average of 10 business days. If you notice or are aware of changes (the entity names don’t match, a different entity is formed, owners changed, dollars don’t match, etc.), let us know as soon as possible so we can process any changes immediately to avoid holding up the closing.
Customer Service Surveys
Beginning in February, Business Finance Group will provide links to first trust lenders and borrowers to help evaluate our service. We will randomly select transactions and both the borrower and banker will receive an e-mail with a link to complete an electronic survey.
